Bbg folks, how is life and opportunities in Princeton office compared to new York city? Do yall think location matters in terms of getting an offer? It looks like NYC has more openings... TC 165K

Yes in Princeton office. NYC provided free lunch to get folks to office but stopped now. Plenty of snacks though
hey SIG, would you recommend SIG for MLEs who are trying to switch over? I got a reachout from SIG but it wasn’t fully clear on if the team is a profit center. What are good SIG tech teams (or is it just a trader first hierarchy?)
Princeton is a pretty boring place to live tbh. Not a lot of place to go, things to do, places to eat, and it's pricy because of the University. On the other hand it's like a 1 hour train ride from NYC and Philly, and if you don't mind driving you're only like 1 hour from the beach and some national forests. I would personally recommend living just outside of Princeton to get a cheaper place to live if you move there.
