Bloomberg?
I got an offer from Bloomberg for $270K for Sr. SWE but I have to move to NY. I was actually looking for remote and my finals are scheduled with other companies. 1. Is there any other company which can beat this offer and provide remote? 2. Can I ask for $300K TC because they don't offer stock, they only offer base pay and bonus. So my TC will not hike automatically unless I ask for it again. Please suggest. Edit: TC: 🥜 YOE: 7.5 yrs
You can definitely negotiate with counter offers, I think they might be able to offer a signing bonus too, relocation costs should be covered. But yeah we’re in hybrid, no full remote until you at least have some tenure

That seems pretty low. I was offered $400k for a sr swe role last year without any counter offers and barely doing any negotiations. 11 yoe. NYC. Not remote though. I didn't take it because I didn't vibe with any managers and it seemed like all managers were over hyping their teams.
$400k is definitely on the very high end for Bloomberg, not an offer everyone should expect.
Interesting. They asked me what I am expecting to make a move to bbg. They offered consideration for a "tl-ship" after the first year. I told them atleast $500k because there's really no reason for me otherwise. They said it's high but might be doable, and they came back with the $400k offer. It didn't end up working out How much do managers make at Bloomberg?
They can go up to $375 that what I was offered. Your seem to be on lower side.

For 7.5 years. You can definitely ask 340k. Ask for it and see what they come back with.
