I applied to bloomberg's data analyst position for 2021 in global data and was able to get an video interview, i was wondering anyone has experience applying to this role or working at it. greatly appreciated if you can help #dataanalytics #bloomberg
I bounced around Bloomberg a bit working for both their analytics program and later in their data dept. Glassdoor is your best friend to prep for this. The role is going to be primary customer service based. Clients will question the accuracy of the data on the BB terminal and you will have to explain it. Also you might be responsible for scraping data too. When I left there was a big emphasis on automating data collection so if you have python skills it would be a great selling point
Thank you. I saw a lot of interviews experiences of the role, talking about the process. Should I look at the fairly recent one?
Yes- newer would be better. Pay attention to the interview questions they post and try to have pre canned answers
Did you get to Super Day?
Yup
Did you have it already? If so, what kind of questions did they ask?
what was the final round of interview about? was it technical or behavioral?
I think they said it’ was behavioral
Hi OP! I know it's an old post but wanted to ask did you end up getting the offer?
Did not end up getting it unfortunately
Sorry to hear that. Do you have any idea about salary range for Data Analyst in Engineering team? Not global data. 2 YOE.
If you are new grad, excellent opportunity. Dm me if you want more info
thank you!
