Finished the following rounds: 1 coding (LC med + hard) 1 sys design 30 min break 1 coding (more like object oriented design) 1 Hiring manager round 15 min recruiter chat Is it a good sign if one finishes all the interview rounds for the SSE loop. Have heard they cut the process short if prior interview rounds don’t go well. Recruiter said high level feedback was positive and will let know coming week. But mostly they’ll downlevel to mid level position rather than senior. Does Bloomberg downlevel from SSE to SE or straight away reject a candidate? YOE 4 TC 🥜
Yoe?
Yoe?
1. Yes, it's a good sign if you finish all rounds. If the reviews are bad from your tech rounds, they don't ask you to speak to the manager. 2. If you have less than 3 YOE, you'll probably be downleveled but it's completely based on interview. Above that, you'll be getting SSE.
BBG doesnt have levels, so there is no mid position here. Just junior or senior. You will probably end up getting senior with 3+YoE
If there are no levels - how does promotions work at Bloomberg?
😂
OP if I may ask how did you prepare for coding rounds ? Is it just the BBG leetcode? Which team did you interview with? I heard sell-side trading has pretty high bar (I’m interviewing with them).
Could you tell about your interview experience. I have an interview with BBG shortly
How did it go? I'm also interviewing with sell side trading team soon. any tips are really appreciated
@OP, Can I DM you?
Please can you share your interview experience with me, I have my interviews this week.
Love how OP never updated to say if they got the offer

Why people waste their time behind Israel Palestine issues?
They downlevel you mostly to levels of experience, but if you made it to HM round. You will 90% likely get a offer, so congrats.
