What are the working hours at Bloomberg? I know the contract says 10h/day and a lot of glassdoor reviews complain about the long working hours, but everyone on here seems to think it’s good wlb. Is engineering more flexible in terms of working hours?
I know a couple of people at Bloomberg, all SWEs, all say it’s pretty chill. In fact, I even heard they have some teams that are for semi-retired devs who “even had a hard time moving the cursor around” lol.
If you know how to play the system you can not work too much. There’s always extra hours before big software release like anywhere. Some teams are laid back but there’s a few wannabe Amazon TLs that are a fucking nightmare. Try to avoid internal apps for the most part
Can I dm you?

It is pretty chill. But if you want to work more no one will stop you

PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
I've talked to 2 ppl I know personally and 4 from blind, all from Bloomberg. Every single one has said it's pretty chill. I saw the Glassdoor posts as well and was quite surprised.
