What is the C++ code at Bloomberg like in terms of quality? Is the majority of new code written in C++ or is it just for older applications? #bloomberg

There is some python and dotnet around but backend still mostly c++ The codebase is on average terrible, sometimes absurdly so

Bloomberg C++ is absolutely the most disgusting C++ I’ve dealt with. I’ve been writing this language for a long time and I really love it, but GOD it was downright terrible there.
