I feel like my lulu products underwear, pants, shirts deteriorate very quickly, curious if it’s just me or it’s common. Like tears and stretching out is the main issue.
Fashion brands all have the same cycle which optimized for profitability. It goes like: - Small niche brand, likely with a celebrity ambassador builds “authentic” brand image while brand awareness grows - High quality and premium cost reinforces exclusivity/desirability of the brand - Sweet spot where quality remains high but a flagship product emerges that is accessible (but likely still a little bit expensive) to the average consumer. Large numbers of people become brand loyal. - Long, drawn out march where year over year prices remain the same but quality is steadily decreased. Financial value is extracted from the brand equity as people refuse to acknowledge to themselves that they are overpaying for cheap junk.
👏
Disagree I’m wearing some pieces for 5 years now
Older pieces are better quality than the new stuff
Are you putting them in the dryer or air drying them?
They are not radioactive. Not sure why you asking for half life. Their entire life can be pretty low.
What do you hope to get out of this conversation? Do you sincerely believe i thought it was radioactive? Or is this the only way you can contribute, because you don’t use the product? Because you can contribute in more positive ways
Use proper English if you want people to contribute. You should not use any absurd word or fancy English just to sound cool.
They're underpants, not a major investment. Buy them and see
I have them they tore within a year. It’s still annoying to spend $80 on underwear and have them tear within the year
Don't buy overpriced polyester.
They replace it for free
