Box vs. Credit Karma
Which one to join? Same title, base salary is almost identical, Sign/on is the same. Box RSU 15,000 at $25.14 as of today Credit Karma RSU 10,700 at $14.40 pre IPO valuation according to the recruiter.
Where do you live right now? Box is in the South Bay while CK is in SF so you should factor that in as well

I was in similar situation and went with box without any hesitation. Pretty happy so far. Box's engineering and interview standards felt way better than credit karma.
Credit Karma is currently profitable. Not sure about Box. So RSU's at Credit Karma might pan out to something. What level are you getting hired at Senior Software Engineer?
Oh didn't even realize box already ipo'ed. Knowing this I would go with the box offer.
Credit Karma is at greater risk for fluctuations in the credit market. Further, it’s quite possible they will never ever IPO and employees will get little more than small liquidity events from time to time to keep people from freaking out. It doesn’t feel like a company looking to go public, imo, but what do I know. That said, people are amazing, save a very small handful.
Every three months I sell my Box RSUs for cash. CASH!

What level is that offer for?
Box! CK had new round of “founding” earlier this year, per share value is the same with previous round in 2015.

Box is a lot better.

box has real technical challenge. It is also real money vs paper money.
