I have about 6yrs working on semiconductor (silicon validation) i’m planning my next career move and I’ve developed a liking for machine learning, artificial intelligence through data analysis i’ve been doing at work what are top skills for a ‘hardware for ML/AI’ or ‘ML/AI for hardware’ engineer at your company/startup? #ai #ml #deeplearning #careermove
Silicon validation is roughly the same, whether you're validating a processor or a ML accelerator. You need to be working on the architecture or system software level to see the difference.
Thanks. What skills do I need to possess to validate these hardware? Algorithms, Math, etc?
Exactly the same skills as validating anything else. Your day to day won't change.
