Hey everyone! I am actively trying to break into a PM role (product manager or owner). I have spent the last 5+ years working in supply chain and have held various leadership roles. The role I am currently in is a system/people improvement manager, and I have spent the last three years working on projects that are PM-like in nature. Where I still have gaps, I have worked with a senior PM mentor to fill those over the last four months. Currently, I am looking for referrals for more entry-level product roles. I think my best bet would be any supply chain/distribution related product roles, but I am thankful for any referrals the community provides! Also, any advice you have would be welcome! Regardless, thanks so much, and I wish you all the best in your product journeys! Experience-6 years TC-85,000#pm #product #productmanager
Also, if you haven't already done so, please complete some courses and relevant certifications to add to the CV.
Following… Have similar situation + CSPO certification + bunch of PM and IT related courses. No luck so far
Have a product portfolio of ur pm-like work as a second page to ur resume and apply. It will help show how u can think like a pm
