Hello, Currently an Analyst with 3 years of experience. I am looking to get into non-tech PM roles. What would be the best resources, Linked Learning/coursera courses to jump in. I’ve gone through “cracking PM interview”, loved it. Moreover I was suggested having a decent SQL knowledge will get me far. Learning it. TC: 90k. #pm #product #productmanager #amazon #walmart #programmanager
Why do you want to become a pm? Is not that greAt.
Why PM? Analyst with a WITCH company and want to get into non-coding full time work?
Figured out I like to get work on multiple projects with bird eye view rather that keeping vision narrow and putting effort on details of one. The other big thing is pay
It's like every PM says the same thing. They like the overarching view and want to make impact through business decisions. Almost everyone is a Desi who can't code or ended up doing an MBA but still wants software salary. Anyway good luck to you.
Think of an actual problem you are facing and build a product around it. That is by far the best way to get into Product roles. Doesn't have a to be a complete functioning product but anything from ideation to conceptualisation should work, with a focus on your thought process. Then add a deck around it in your projects for resume.
