I understand you have competing products, but why do you have to copy the exact same 6 values from each other: Brex: * Dream big * One Brex * Inspire customer love * Ownership * Growth mindset * Impatient optimism Ramp: * Think big * Put the team first * We feel for our customers * We are all owners * Grow without fear * Win the marathon, sprint by sprint Source: https://www.brex.com/careers/ https://ramp.com/about-us #brex #ramp
And both of them have shortlisted the values from Amazon Leadership Principles.
Damn they both got really good Blind ratings
The ratings should also display the sample size.
It should also display how many are from fake accounts created by recruiting team.
DoorDash is similar. Basically they all want you to own stuff .
Ownership is sexy. Management gets all wet when ICs show ownership.
Own stuff, be customer champion. Yada yada. Basically company pay, you do as much work as possible
I feel like values are super generic and most companies have a subset of the same ones, it's all about whether a company rly lives by them or na. For example Amazon is definitely not the world's best employer lol
Every company has the same bs with slightly different flavor.
Well, FWIW, my company doesn’t even have values. LMAO.
Take any corporate jargon with a pinch of salt.
These are all stupid values because they are truisms. Meta actually had a good set of values because it shows what they value so you know what you will be dealing with when you get there. Now it is more corporate.
