Windbg - you already got offer letter from Broadcom ?
No
Oh ok
Need to see how they stream line the salary part ,
During the Symantec acquisition, what they did was reduce the base package by a certain amount and supplemented it with a PF contribution from their side. Essentially, they ensured that your previous CTC remained the same by incorporating the PF on their end. But not sure what they will do it with VMWare.
Thanks for the insights! What was the RSU they offered? Was it same as that was offered by Symantec?
No, the Symantec share price was exceptionally low during that period. As a result, they decided to discontinue the RSUs initially offered by Symantec and instead replaced them with Broadcom RSUs based on the employees' respective designations. But I think this is not the case with VMware.
