Just 1995 out of 38000K employees for first wave ? This must be way too less than what is actual.
That is just the Palo Alto office. Out of 5k people. Globally it will be a much larger number.

Nah, those on transition will hit in the next few months. I suspect at least 3k more will be reported in q1 of next year.

Some h1-b Indian VMware employee took the microphone and thanked the Broadcom CEO for being so patient. You would be surprised how many suck ups are here
Who is impacted? Usually after acquisitions its the admin functions like HR,recruiting,legal,finance that no longer needs its own setup.
