Broadcom offers for VMWare employees, insane RSU
Broadcom is acquiring VMWare and they started rolling offers to vmw employees They are keeping same comp with welcome RSU’s. Vesting every 3 months (4yrs) RSUs: L4/L5- 350k to 650k L6/L7- 1 mil to 1.8 mil Does Broadcom pays this much? Current TC - 325 New TC - 450k #broadcom
650k for l5- unbelievable!!
L4 and most L5 def not getting paid that high. Can confirm L6 is getting up to close to 1M

What I’ve seen on my team is everyone with an offer is coming out ahead of their pay at VMware L3 same base + 20% bonus + 125 RSU L4 same base + 25% bonus + 210 RSU L5 same base + 30% bonus + 320 RSU I heard VMW directors are Sr Managers under Broadcom and got a cut in base but that’s generously overcompensated with RSUs Their RSUs vest every 3 months Not bad
L6 is getting up to 1100. L7 getting 1700. Both with base cut 20%. 35 and 40% target bonus respectively.
Yeah idk where you're getting your numbers but they're standardized across levels for us. ICB 4 - 210 RSU - 182k ICB 5 - 320 RSU - 280k ICB 6 - 1100 RSU - 950k ICB 7 - 1700 RSU - 1.5m The jump from 5 to 6 is insane, should b lower imo

L5 sales same base no bonus 170 RSU
L5 got 320 shares which is 280k. How did you confirm the 350k -650k number?
Its based on my team vSphere dev .. L5 are 450+ here ..
450k is total compensation, right? I can confirm 300k/yr for L4 w/ bonus and RSUs *if* the deal goes through 🙂
