I am starting to invest in stocks. Whats a good platform for beginners? - Previous discussions here heavily recommended Robinhood for beginners. Given all the shit they have done I dont want to give my business to them. - I am mostly looking for mid-long term investment. Not planning for day trades, calls etc. - I have accounts with fidelity(hsa), Charles(goog stock), vanguard(401k). Dont mind multiple logins. - Looking for no fee trades.
Anything but rh
Robinhood is great
you must be a newbie. If you can survive the next market cycle and want to take investing to the next level, you will need say goodbye to RH.
Been investing since 2012. Keep my long term assets in Fidelity and other, my day to day light investments in RH. I will support RH for the work theyve done to remove high trading fees. The issue the had lately is a serious wake up call for the financial system, theyre working actively to change regulations to remove t+2 holdings and dtcc collateral (which cause the issues last month). I stick with them despite the last two outtages and saw them work hard to fix it, I will continue to support them since I know what I'm doing and not a conspiracy theorist.

Hypocrisy of Indians
Charles Shwab is pretty good. Personally I use TD Ameritrade, love thinkorswim, though it takes a little time to figure things out. UI is awesome I also have an IBKR for its great margin rate(pro 1.25%), and also I am interested in investing in HK. But IB charges for commissions and data. UI sucks but I get used to it.
