I hereby alert all the blinders to avoid Lacework. Especially the SRE teams. SRE managers are lunatic morons who will make your life a living hell. Not just SRE, the entire company is a jumbo mess. All engineers from Meta are gone back to Meta or other FAANGs. SRE teams are severely decimated. 70-80% churn or resignations in 2-3 months. Employees are busy leetcoding and wanting to gtfo. The stock options that you’ll get will be severely under water. The ARR is negative. I repeat its NEGATIVE. Lacework is rapidly going downhill. The recruiters and the hiring managers will lie through their teeth about 100% bonus gurantee but thats not been the case. Its just 50% or less. Please don’t join lacework. You will only experience betrayal, dishonesty and complete non-transparency. Huh!! I am still at Lacework but not for long. Waiting for the H2 bonus even if its peanuts. I landed offer last week and they is not paying sign-on. So I asked joining date to be June 1. Bonus payout is probably going to be in May. Continuing to grind LCs and scheduling interviews.
Most of the good SREs have left or are leaving. We will have half the amount soon. The problem is not the ICs it's their management. The ones that came from Meta were tricked into thinking this would be a good job but when those people quit and went back to Meta that was the signal for everyone else to quit.
