Building a platform that: A. Would care about job applicants and make their job applicantion experience more personalized with relevant recommendations after signup. Reward relevant job applications with credits. B. Care about the recruiters and reward 'relevant outbound emails' and ' quality hires' with credits. Pain point is deteriorating 'quality', random blockers, non existent customer care and linkedin turning in to a social networking site instead of a recruitment portal. #novirtuesignalling #nohumblebragging Key is to get first 100 premium employees and to get traction fast with Google/bing advertisements. Thoughts?
I will use it. Linkedin is full of virtue signalling, It's virtue signalling olympics. So, I'm very happy to use a platform for professional connections which doesn't show all the non sense and focus on professional activities
I’d use a LinkedIn alternative if it’s an actual place for professional connections and you remove all the SJW and humble braggers
Wait... LinkedIn isn't a social networking site?
Nope, that's facebook. LinkedIn started off as a recruitment portal for professional connections and job finding.
Found Jian-Yangs blind account. Seriously, no. Don't waste your time.
Try harder
If you make the data available free though api...its crowd sourced data so shoukd be free LinkedIn should do the same but have been getting away
Always create products that solve customer problems. I don’t think any of the points you mentioned are so critical that you need a LinkedIn lookalike. If there are major unique problems with LinkedIn or if you have a very unique value proposition, that will attract users to your platform.
