I'm planning to build a personal app and trying to pick the better framework. What are your opinions? Also if you could share your experience with either or both and why you voted it would be great. Thank you! React native pros: - I loathe JS, but know I should probably learn it at some point (maybe typescript is a better alternative) - more mature framework - knowledge translates well with regular react for caterer development and building internal tools (especially JS) Flutter pros - mind share now is actually similar to react native (measuring for example by github stars) - dart seems like an interesting language to learn and work with - material design components are built in by default - architecture seems better in terms of performance (app will be pretty lightweight, so this isn't a big deal)
Flutter code is kind of ugly IMO. Also, most examples Iāve seen are object orientedš¤¢
And in your opinion, OOP is ugly?
Flutter is an over engineered version of react. The problem is that google engineers donāt understand the beauty of simplicity. Check angular, android and flutter. I hope jet pack does better.
Vue
Flutter code is fucking disgusting. It really made me appreciate JSX
React with typescript. Definitely a better skillset to develop. I'd your app is indeed small, both work just fine performance wise. Also check out expo. As long as you don't have to eject, it makes developing and releasing stupid easy.
Question I'm facing: building a hybrid app v PWA.
