My partner has been burned out for a while but it has reached a point where he’s starting to lose motivation to even do the things he used to enjoy the most. I believe he’s very burned out and depressed. If you faced burn out or helped someone through a burn out, what helped the most? What can I do to help him through what he’s facing? Thank you. #burnout #depression #mentalhealth
What does "paid club" mean?
Is he an Amazon employee?
What do you think :(
I had this right after joining Amazon. One Friday night crazy club party and woke up saturday morning with new life
Get a hobby or spent time on something unrelated to your job that you are interested in. In the end the only thing that helps is to figure out what can be done or what has to change in your partner’s life to avoid getting burnt out in the first place. If the job is so stressful/demanding that they cannot handle it then looking for other options might be the best first step to take.
He doesn't have time for the hobbies.
Time to change that then. One works to life not life to work.
Already on it ;)
Is reporting this troll reasonable?
Wow. Maybe a good break? Space? Going somewhere?
We just came back from vacation and are going again next week and it seems to not work. I think he needs a vacation to stay at home and just chill to be honest.
First all of, sorry to hear. Will recommend taking FMLA leave for 4 months. You need a medical doctor to fill the form and suggest you're having mental health issues d/t burnout. Most companies by law should approve it and keep your job. You can be laid off during this medical leave so use the time to recover but at same time prepare for better opportunities. You could also invest into ecommerce business as a long term solution to walk away from burnout roles if you have cash to start something on your own and be completely free. There are so many YouTube videos on starting ecommerce videos on Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, etc. Hope this helps.
Gym, regular sex and healthy food. That's all he needs. If his workplace is toxic, he needs to get away from it.
Also sleep. If he regularly doesn't get enough sleep, setting a hard rule like "in bed, even if you're not sleepy, by 11pm"

Is Trump the best person to vote for if you're pro Palestine?
No, it’s been going for a while now. He wakes up to work and works until he goes to sleep. Extreme work pressure and toxic work culture. He just got covid as well.
Works at Amazon?
