Lease on my Merc-GLC is ending next month, haven’t gone over the miles limit of 30,000 over 3 years. Residual value is close to 26k, should I just pay it off and use the car for 3 more years or get a new lease/loan? Tc 235k L63 Yoe 6
What year is it? For the longest time the Merc C and GLC have the most horrid plastic crackly-creaky cheap dashboard and console that drives me nuts. Unacceptable for the Mercedes badge The new generation I think fixed that
2021
Lease buyouts nearly never make financial sense. What's the residual vs KBB trade in?
Kbb is 2k above my residual
Sometimes, or often in my case, you can trade it in off lease to a different dealer if the market value is higher than your set purchase price. My last 3 leases I’ve made between 3-5k without actually purchasing the car outright first.
Don't keep an old Mercedes. Always lease a new one.
Premium / European cars generally have the uncanny ability to fail some expensive part immediately after that bumper to bumper warranty period
Given that Mercedes is notorious for its poor quality, mechanics don't recommend keeping it after warranty. Give it back and lease a new one.
And how bout bmw?
I'd also lease it
Just get a new one. Enjoy the life after few years it will be mini van only
That car is ugly as shit
Find a good lease deal ; leasehackr excellent resource
That’s a great price. Buy and keep or buy and sell. Carvana selling 2021’s for $39.000.

Iran’s President confirmed dead
I mean do you like the car? Are there features you really want on the new one?
Yeah I got no complaints with my car, just wanna get out of the monthly car installment mentality. So maybe I buy it out, drive it for 2-3 years. Sell it and get a new car in cash
If that is your mindset, then buy it out by all means. It’ll keep you happy for another 3years/20K miles. If you’re willing to experience new models/features, love driving, then better to get a new lease. But you’ll never be able to exit the hamster wheel and thats the cost you pay.
