I recently accepted an Analyst role at Lending Club and I'm starting soon. Wanted to know how the culture there is compared to your previous company (or Adobe) Excited! Thanks
Please do consider very seriously if you decide to come. As far as I know, a lot of people don’t like the culture here. For analytics, senior management only cares about business impact and no work life balance.
Oh my. Is it the same across all analytics org?
What team are you on?
Doesn’t matter. Do take right decision.
I left. Low company morale
😅😅😅 thanks everyone for your comments. Well, I'll try my best to instill the values and morale I carried over from Adobe and see if I can be a good leader (I'm an IC but just saying) of positive cultural influence 🙂
I think LC has a good culture with good people. I suppose it depends what team you’re on, but that’s my experience
Culture can be great depending on what team you’re on. I think LC is great at hiring really smart, talented people and not giving them competitive compensation. Lots of people will try to stick it out despite comp because of the people. Upper management is a mess and morale overall is low. Lots of people would advise you to stick it out for a year and then leave.
The culture will be a downgrade from being innovative like Adobe to bottom-line focused (e.g. cutting cost). Adobe has a lot more means financially speaking to experiment with innovations. A lot of people at LC came from traditional big banks - just picture yourself working in that type of environment.
Surprised to see comparison between the 2. Adobe is considered gold standard for culture. LC is downright shithole. Assuming OP joined by now, I hope it works out.
OP - what is the TC for an analyst?
Looks like a downgrade to me
Why so?
Adobe is definitely a better place to work
