At 9 yeo i think you can negotiate for L64? I have seen L64 offers going till 1.3-1.4 cr. For L63 difficult to go beyond 1-1.1 cr as others have commented. Where do you work currently, is it near IPO company? Most likely they will not consider your ESOPs since that is not real money.
I absolutely agree especially with the MS HR mindset. But given that I still have over 2.5 Cr of invested ESOPs from one of the market leaders in its field, I still hope for some sensible negotiation. L64 is pretty hard given the fact that my last designation with MS was L62 just a couple of years ago
