I got an offer from C3, I'm just a little worried about some things. Are the Glassdoor reviews paid for? They have a 4.6 despite having no work from home and multiple interviews implying bad WLB. Are they going to expect me to come to the office if I start in April? Some of my interviewers were already in the office.#
Their AI writes reviews for them, duh.
Their AI? I don’t think you know much about what What services they provide if you think that 😂😂😂
Never trust glassdoor reviews.
Why not? Any evidence they are not reliable?
I have written bad reviews about a company, not mentioning any person's name,buy pointed out about Head of Engineering and the post was never published. This happened twice. Eversince, I lost trust in Gd.
There is no working from home. Only for now because we are in the middle of a pandemic.
Yeah they've made that clear, when do you think people will be forced to go back to the office?
@gtjfb within the next month.
Sort Glassdoor for lowest reviews and then read and find the number of ‘helpful’ label..
A lot of the negative complaints seem pretty standard for a startup. Namely being "cultish" or bossy or overworked. That's just how startup culture is, and people like it or they don't.
I worked there. It's not normal, even for a startup. Stay away at all costs.
Which team you interviewed for?
Solutions engineering
What is the offer?
I only have an informal offer so far, they are gonna tell me the details later today
What was the offer?
They are rolling out daily covid tests before asking people to get back to office. I wouldn’t worry about that. They are logical about it and with growing concerns they are complying with local safety recommendations. Furthermore, if you for whatever reason don’t feel safe to go to office I’m sure they’ll be ok with that (on a case by case basis)
Accept the offer of you like the job and the team and the culture of the team you interviewed for. Otherwise don’t.
