Looking at a DS job posting from Truist and this is what's written on the job description about work location arrangement. https://careers.truist.com/us/en/job/R0081154/Data-Scientist 'Position may be eligible to work remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.' Do any of Truist folks have any insights on how that statement work in real life? Do I have to relocate to ATL? Do they pay for my travel if I can live outside of GA? How often do I have to travel to the office? etc. #datascience #rto
Even if they cover the travel, traveling with Truist is the worst.
Would you mind elaborating it?
Terrible expense policies... Especially for a large bank. Expense dept is like an old grandma that thinks $5 will get you a nice sit down meal in the big city.
Man, don't take decision based on best case scenario. Assume that they will drag you to the office when needed.
