So how much do Managing Directors at Silicon Valley Bank make?
Title says it all. Was snooping around glassdoor which said TV of up to $600k. I work at Wells Fargo in its Commercial Banking Group with 18 yoe but am on in the mid $400s. Does SVB really pay that much?
Are you relationship manager or loan team manager? It all depends on the role. Glassdoor doesn’t have those details.
I will let the financial people answer you better direct and informative answers. But because I am bored at work and need a distraction and have open blind I am going to tell you something that I realized about Glassdoor and job posting salary ranges. "Upto " is such a big deal there. One person because of some bonus and some random clause in some random shit would make that and the sites would start advertising. So don't feel low about it. I think mid 400K is not bad but who would say no to more money right . 🙂. Anyway hope you have a better day and don't fall down a rabbit hole of " why the hell am I making so less " , or " I need to make more " or even the worse one " I am not doing enough" .
