Yes , it’s kick ass..
Thanks OP for posting this. I have been thinking about pursuing MS in robotics myself and was researching about career options after that.
Np! When are you thinking of applying?
How is it different from an AI program? Is it more focused on building/mechanical aspects of robots? (Which may be beyond the scope of CS background?)
This program is very heavy in research, so you get to choose whether to focus on the mechanic aspects or the software foundations (ML, CV, NLP). Most of the courses are related to ML, CV, or Math but there are 1-2 on the physical aspects
What are the job prospects after MS in robotics? I have seen some people come back to FANG and work on software systems. I guess that beats the whole purpose.
Did you see those on LinkedIn?
Autonomous driving industry is probably the most lucrative one for robotics right now. But I know a few even went to the street.
I don't think there is as much competition like G, FB for people in this world.

Tier 1.5 MS program and research oriented, worth pursuing if you do not make 200k. FANG research - very rare unless you do phd. Hedge funds - I know a few data points who ends up Two Sigma or Citadel
Just curious - which ones do you regard as Tier 1 MS programs? Also, mind if I PM you for a couple questions?
Top 4 MSCS, CMU LTI MS, these I think are tier 1. Welcome to PM
