Was wondering if anyone has had (recent) experience or heard from fellow colleagues the working environment at JFrog?
Head over to Glassdoor to see a better picture. The execs sound callous at best, cruel at worst. Their head of dev-rel bullies people on Twitter and Stackoverflow. Maybe some devs are happy there, but I wouldn’t take my chances.
I worked at Jfrog for almost 2 years. Don’t go there unless you’re Jewish. Read the Glassdoor reviews. DM me if you have any further questions.
Wow. This sounds bad.
I heard they grant stock options generously to their customer success and sales teams
You’ll be fired before your vesting period
Not sure about generous. B2B companies rely heavily on their sales and success teams, so it only seems fair. There are plenty of companies that are less intense than JFrog and that will treat you with respect. Don’t settle if you don’t have to
Since this post is a year old. Any update on jfrog would be great. I'm expecting offer as Sr sol architect in customer success team. Wanted to make sure if jfrog improved their culture since glassdoor has a diff story to tell.
Everyone is pretty happy. JFrog is growing hiring a lot of people each week. The products are popular and have a great reputation in DevOps community. What else would you like to know?
how do you view their future? There seems to be a lot of competition in devops tools and also cloud providers offering their own. Did you get a good package/offer when you joined them? Do they increase your salary with time?
It’s a large market with a lot of room to grow. JFrog has got many different products. It’s not only Artifactory but also Xray and other stuff. Products are constantly evolving. The pace is fast and JFrog leadership is pretty ambitious. I got above the average TC, as far as I can tell, comparing to the companies of the same size. And it’s definitely a better work-life balance here. Could do better TC-wise at FB or Google, I guess. As in any other company there are merit-base salary increases and other perks.
