COL difference: bay area vs seattle
Currently making 370k in bay area. how much should i be earning for same or better lifestyle in Seattle and nearby areas?

Seattle houses are 50% cheaper to buy than the bay area. Traffic is better too (but still bad). No state tax. Other things are about 10-20% cheaper too but that doesn't mean you should take a 10-20% pay cut. The money you save is the same irrespective of CoL unless you eventually plan to spend the saved money in the same place.

Eventually you are going to use that money, otherwise what’s the benefit of saving ? Saving more now means less to worry in future.
