COVID-19: smartest people still in US!

In the coronavirus Korea: No China citizen in Singapore: No China citizen in ... Italy: No China citizen in ... USA: No foreigner in if you visited China in the past 14 days, regardless who you are. I’m so glad that USA still has the smartest people! And I think we must add all coutries above in our blacklist, considering their coronavirus situation and considering the stupidity of the people in those countries.

Except none of these work, infected people can infect others in airports and connecting flights, public transit and so on. Until there's a vaccine it's unstoppable. The whole point of blocking only citizens is that a foreigner who was there for a short time is a lot less likely to be infected than a person living there. The only hypothetical way to stop it would be to ban all travel to us and quarantine all us citizens arriving back regardless of point of origin. Even then with the ease of crossing to us from Mexico and Canada that wouldn't work.

Twisted logic. Condoms don't always work, condoms break. Even if I use condoms it may break, so I'm not going to use condom. We neither have resources nor it is necessary under current situation. Doesn't mean that we shouldn't take measures to reduce the risk. Current US measures help to reduce risk of infection and its spread within US.

I understand that. I'm not suggesting they stop all traffic. I'm saying both the option chosen by us and other countries makes sense and the benefit of banning foreigners for being in china for short time is far more limited than people who live there for a long time. The op was saying us system is smarter, it's not, it's just more risk averse,

US strategy will work, if it’s well executed. US citizens coming back will be isolated for 14 days. Whether we can 100% execute is another topic

The world just needs a solid 2 weeks of quarantine. Everyone must comply for the sake of humanity, at the same time. I realize it may not be guaranteed to work but sure as shit is definitely worth a shot.

Apple poilut Feb 26, 2020

Uber will go out of business. Let’s do it for humanity!

Microsoft quickies Feb 26, 2020

I think uber has a point

Dropbox eyecontact Feb 26, 2020

It’s not if it’s a matter of when

PARC Tmkc Feb 26, 2020

@Uber let’s go with your idea. What happens after the 2 week quarantine?

Apple poilut Feb 26, 2020

Uber is wiped out

Unity M8hgg6 Feb 26, 2020

I think in certain locations you can actually order the coronavirus from Uber.

LOL It’s interesting that peoples are so attached to the employer rather than the topic. It’s easy. If Uber is down, I just go back to work for FG and get another 4-year Grant. Any of the three companies pays 50% more than the fruit company, or 100% more than some random companies. I am surprised that employees want to see a good-pay company down but don’t care the truth of the virus. This is also interesting. Considering so many stupid people in Blind, I am changing my mind... maybe the virus will fly for quite a while. But that’s a good. We need something to purify human beings and eliminate the stupidity of our DNAs.
