I have T-Mobile and service is quite shitty. I assume it’s just as shitty for others who have T-Mobile. Anyone think this merger will lead to better phone service from T-Mobile? http://www.businessinsider.com/t-mobile-sprint-new-company-merger-details-2018-4
hopefully this means sprint towers will give more coverage
Just get google fi
Google fi is a joke if you have someone on your plan thay isn't on WiFi all day but uses streaming apps. For example my sister uses hers to stream music while commuting an hour each way every day. Google fi she would pay well over 70 to 100 a month just for thay data. Or get a tmobile unlimited for 50.
Oh ya never thought oh that. I am always in Wi-Fi. Why doesn’t she just download her playlist? I know might not be all the songs she wants.
Glad I got my plan price locked in. Hopefully this doesn't mean worse prices due to less competition. Maybe it'll stress the big two and cause them all to lower prices again
This is going to go terrible just like all other sprint mergers. Remember Nextel? GSM and cdma aren’t even compatible.
GSM? Seriously? GSM is 2G technology. The whole industry has gone to 4G LTE in case you didn’t notice. So everyone is running the same thing now. Yes, there are still legacy 2G/3G networks still running but they are going away fast as the carriers harvest the spectrum for 4G and 5G. And T-Mobile is in charge this time. T-Mobile gets technology right. Sprint’s legacy CDMA users will be migrated to LTE and the spectrum will be re deployed for 4G/5G. CDMA/GSM integration doesn’t even factor into the conversation.
Imagine T-Mobile quickly deploying 2.5GHz spectrum nationwide across all TMO and Sprint towers (that are kept)! 600Mhz + 2.5 GHz will be a killer team especially the amount of 2.5 Ghz, just an incredible amount. Then there is PCS and AWS for mid and coverage. Just an amazing position to be in...
This guy gets it
What is tmo's separation package like? How about other benefits and employee perks/discounts?
What makes you think you're getting a separation package? T-Mobile may not lay anyone off at all. In fact, they may just make you duke it out with your peers. 😂 Seriously, I have no idea. But I'll say that T-Mobile is a fair company. I would think that it would be reasonable.
Separation package 😂, if you you work in retail sales , I suggest get your metrics up , get all those activations goals in Green and get your NHR up!
What phone do you have?
Eh I like my TMobile service. They have issues with building penetration in certain areas due to the frequencies they can operate within, but the FCC recently allowed them to purchase more so they should be a lot stronger by 2020. As for your actual question, it's hard to say. I personally don't think so because Sprint isn't that great to begin with!
