I am here to share with you my worst and most traumatic working experience I have ever had, which was with one of my past employers. Once upon a time I was working for a big corp. When the pandemic hit, my once manager went nuts and forced me to work 997 ( on average 10 hours per day, with no days off, even on weekends). This went on for 3 months non stop. I literally had to ask for a Sunday off once and got mocked severely for it by him. I got threatened and treated like garbage, until I couldn’t take it anymore and gave official resignations. The worst thing is the company was actually firing almost all the people with a contract like mine (pandemic hit the business hard). I could have gotten unemployment benefits from the state if the manager fired me (which he did only orally, but not formally).. he didn’t. So he went on and pretended with everyone else in the company that he fired me once I left. The reason he did not fire me is because I was a critical resource for a project and really liked exploiting me. He belongs to a psychiatric clinic. TC 🥜

Damn I'm sorry to hear this fr. Is this in the US? Typically you hear 997 associated with China
Europe, very illegal to do this here, I had no choice but to go along though.
Is the manager an Asian ?
