Acquaintance was about to be PiP’d but manager was laid off like old dishwater before it could take effect and new manager is not going ahead with PiP 😃 @amazon

A pip process once started cannot be not taken forward. The employee has to go ahead with the plan regardless of manager changes. Their pip can end only if they pass pip successfully (which sadly rarely happens).
