I recently received an offer for a Customer Experience Analyst position at Spectrum and another for a User Experience Design role at Thermo Scientific. The CX Analyst position offers a $25k higher salary and comes with a full-time contract, along with numerous benefits. On the other hand, the UX Design role is a contract position without the added benefits. Although the UX role seems to offer more growth opportunities, I'm uncertain about which offer to accept. I would appreciate advice, especially from those with experience in Customer Experience roles. How should I weigh my options, and what factors should I consider before making a decision? #ui/ux #interviews #design #customerexperience
I usually think of CX as customer support / help. So if you work on any product / UX it will be internal tooling. With internal customers and stakeholders.
Do a side by side comparison of both job responsibilities, management and org structure and see what body of work is needed. Or, just take the option with more $$$ Is the CX role about working on all customer touch points? Does that float your boat?
