California AB5 crap law
Why does leftist think everyone deserves everything. They are asking companies having billions of dollar of loss to classify their drivers as employees! 1. Uber/Lyft/Doordash can put strict controls and timings so drivers will loose flexibility and freedom to do more hours. 2. Unionize them, wow π that's a great way to increase costs for California residents. 3. No new Lyft/Uber competetiors, who can bear so much compliance costs! Also, driving Uber should not be full time job. It's called gig for a reason. So many people started earning more from Uber than their regular job so they do it & that's their fault. Is silicon valley shooting themselves in foot? They also wanted to change free food laws, break GF. Why Silicon Valley is so liberal when left literally wants to destroy SV?
The hardest part about innovating and launching a startup in CA, is figuring out what the hell CA is going to deem illegal and/or known to cause cancer.
This bill is going to cause everyone to be worse off. Classic California. Let's help a few unionized workers and provide less jobs and prosperity for everyone else.
