California Real Estate License for Side hustle?
Received my greencard last year in eb2(2012/mar) pd. Was waiting for few things to settle on personal level before figuring legal side hustles. Is getting real estate license worth it? I am an introvert and shy person by nature and rarely like conflict and have seen many realtors argue and pit against each other for showing whose better! Currently at Uber my base salary is 180k ( nontech) and stocks+bonus worth another 70k So if I don’t have plans to be a full time agent or broker, will it be worth getting the license? Tc-250k

You don't sound like you're excited about this at all. Then why do you even consider it? How are you going to find clients? How many houses do you think you're going to sell in a year? Do you even have a plan? Drive for uber. Much easier side hustle for you.

I would drive for Uber if I could, but as an Uber fte we cannot! And btw if you are looking down on Uber and considering as a downgraded profession, let me remind you that we are very thankful to our Uber drivers and delivery partners.. without them a lot of growth won’t happen! While we are at it, our Uber drivers have privilege of taking restroom breaks and not taking a p in a bottle so your Andy Jassy or Bezos can continue to take in millions!

Side hustles in real estate do not work. A house getting closed in a week can have a lot of work. You have to make calls, visit, etc. All this happens during weekdays. Unless you’re very smart and change manage your time even on Weekdays you can do it. But not worth the tension. In beginning years you don’t earn much. Just getting one house deal will be like climbing a mountain, too much competition
Arguing in public won't help as a realtor. The house gets sold to the best offer determined by the owners.

The arguing is to get the clients. You have to be in constant "sales mode" to get customers. That is the hard part of the job.
