I thought Azure was bad till I came here. Our team is fighting fires all the time and the team mates don't seem to have any passion. Beware people who are planning to join OCI
Or better yet, Seattle?
He said OCI, so probably Seattle.
I am in Seattle
OCI has ~1500 people in Seattle
I work in OCI, not all of it is like that. Just the bad teams. Moving in OCI is easy. PM me
Thanks. Let's meet
Welcome! Didn’t you see the reviews before joining?
I thought" how bad it could be?"
Well now you know 🤷♂️
Interviewed there and got an offer. Looks like very sad and dead place
Unfortunately true
AWS is no different but the stock makes up for the lack of soul or happiness at work.
Haha
LOL
Indeed the offices and people were just depressing when I visited. The hiring manager was so stressed
My manager is stressed as well , but only selectively.
Really? I didn't get that vibe when I was there.
At least most of Oci folks get huge paycheck while being sad and dead while other part of the oracle get peanut while being sad and dead.
Is it that different? How difficult is it to transfer internally?
When I interviewed at OCI a interviewer mentioned that Oracle -> OCI was difficult because the bar is higher. Similar to how Amazon -> AWS is. He was ex-Amazon
Not all teams are bad- the bad teams see manager changes almost every year. Good teams have been with the same set of core people for 2 years+.

Peaceful Protest Hasn’t Worked and Has Been Met With Aggression.
Is it oracle Hyderabad or Bangalore?
OCI is not in India. Also, i dont think people move from Microsoft to Oracle in India. It's a downgrade in terms of quality of work and pay in India.
But better wlb?
