Can Apple engineer use non-Apple phones?
Do you use your personal mobile devices for work email, VPN access etc? Is it OK to have an Android device for these? Are some brands no go? Direct competition like Samsung, Or those with Chinese ties e.g. Huawei? Asking as might get an offer, currently have Huawei, thinking of upgrading to Samsung. My family is not into Apple devices, but Android, and want to keep single ecosystem. TC 190k EDIT: I can see it triggered some people. Perhaps replace can vs should. What are the disadvantage. Certainly, on Huawei one cannot install Okta Verify, meaning one might need to drag extra device. Is this the case with apple? There's nothing like that. You are free to use whatever phone you want for your personal use. They can give you a "company phone" if they want you to use iphone
Having an extra phone to carry would be a disadvantage.
Advantage: switch off your company phone after 5

wat? 1) Apple try to hire people who are fans of their products. 2) If managers notice some Android they definitely will not like that as they are very "patriotic" about their products or at least they try to pretend they are. 3) Are not some internal apps not available on Android?

Because of a superiority complex and the need to ācustomizeā their phone with useless widgets and trinkets that required the slightest shred of Q/A to make their way onto iPhone.
What I'm saying is that Samsung phones are crap, you can buy a Pixel for almost the same price, and it's so much better that's not even close
Huawei has consistently one of the worst phones on the market. My ex gf had it and I hate that phoneās software with a passion.
