My interview with Meta failed. It was a bad interview experience. The interviewer was late, then he couldn't open the interview tool, then he changed the conference room. During the interview, he didn't ask for clarification or discussed but just told me what he thought, which was wrong after I did more investigation post interview. Could I tell the Meta recruiter the experience and ask if I can retake this interview?
Typically recruiters ask you how the interview went. Just be honest and say it was a bad experience. If you had multiple interviews and the others were ok then they would give u another chance. If you had others that didn’t go well then you are probably out of luck. If it is phone screen then you prob get another chance.
You've a genuine case Please ask and hopefully it'll be considered
Always ask.
Definitely worth it. They let me redo one of the technical rounds.
Thanks for the advice and support. I will do.
Let us know how it goes, OP Good luck 🍀
I told the recruiter. I didn't blame the interviewer, but told the recruiter that the interview wasn't conducted well. The recruiter can't change the decision but ask me to reach out in August to get ready for interview after 6 month cool off

I was able to get another round for my system design. My recruiter said I m only getting another chance because my coding rounds were flawless. In any case, you should ask for a retake. Best of luck.
I nailed system design and flubbed one of the coding rounds, so they’re having me do another. Interviews are such a coin flip, happy to get another flip…..
