Currently at about $175k base with $30k cash bonus and about 15% other deferred comp in a commercial banking role. I work about 40 hours a week. Can I get more in fintech for the same WLB? If so, where and in what kind of roles? Thanks in advance! Edit to add: portfolio manager with 6 YoE in the Boston area.
What's your YoE and CoL area?
About 6 years experience, Boston
A PM as In commercial banker (lending/credit)? Or a PM as in managing client assets for Private Banking/PWM clients?
Lender/credit
That’s a pretty good TC for 6 YOE and being in Boston!
You are living the dream
Nah, it’s about as good as it’s going to get for you.
True
This is incredible pay and WLB combo. Don’t worry about the other side of the fence, you are there!
I guess I should be happy but can’t help but feel a little sad if there’s no more upside for the next 20-30 years.
Consulting: incentivizing inefficiency and wish for WLB. (Left Deloitte 5 years ago and now 3x the pay and half the hours)
You can def do better. I'm at 6.5 YOE in data analytics and am about to get to like 200-230 base and tc of 250-300 depending on which role I decide to take next (have offers on the table). Edit: in Dallas, very LCOL
What sort of data analytics are you in?
Wow nice! Are you data analyst or data sci?
That’s pretty good TC
Yes
This is a completely useless comment. You as a person are trash.
What do you do? We can't help if you don't share your occupation.
