Can I make money online on h1b visa?
And have that money transferred to my bank account in India, or to my parents' account? Not trying to hide the money under the table but looking for an option so I don't get into legal troubles here.
Work fulltime and spend rest of the time with your family. Money isn’t everything
If by "make money online" you mean playing poker or something, then I think it's allowed. If you mean doing work, then no.

You mean they have to sponsor my h1b? But that employer is not located in the US.
Doesn't matter, it's illegal if you are deriving income in the US
