I bought a townhouse in Kirkland last month and my monthly payment is $4K/ month. Even though my calculations say I will be able to pay my EMI I get a feeling of remorse if the decision to buy is right. I'm currently single and this is my first home purchase ever. TC: 200. #mortgage #housing #seattle
What's EMI ? You mean your mortgage payments ?
Yep, my monthly payment
Get some roommates..
Buyers remorse is common for big purchases. Just enjoy your time in that house.
You possibly bought during the peak. That’s ok..get some roommates to help pay off 70% of the mortgage and enjoy the cash flow
you are fine depending on what savings you have if major expenses happen
Is it just the loan amount? What about property taxes, insurance and hoa? Does 4k include all? Then it should be fine. Get a roommate or 2 if you feel strapped.
If you’re okay with roommates, get some. It’ll drastically help your cash flow situation if it’s too much to handle, and if not, at least they’re paying off your mortgage lol
Have a roommate and you will reduce burden of it.
You’ll be fine, Kirkland is a good area. TC is a bit low, but you can rent out.
PMI? What is EMI?
