I left Amazon before the 3-year service mark a few years ago so I didn't get the employer contribution I suppose. I remember I rolled over the 401k plan into my (from Fidelity to Fidelity) personal IRA and the 401k plan eventually showed 0 balance and Fidelity close it automatically. I however cannot remember if I only rolled over my contribution, or I rolled over the entire balance including the *unvested* Amazon contribution (therefore if this is the case I owe a big check to Amazon). Can anyone who recently did similar rollover help confirm whether the broker (like Fidelity) would even allow rolling over the unvested portion on their website or not? Thanks
Thanks I know that but unfortunately I left way before that mark so I am sure I won't get it :)
And if u start late July so u don’t hit 1000 hours by 12/31, that time basically doesn’t count? Your first year would start 1/1?
yes if you start late for example on 2021, that year wont be counted against the 3 year cliff. That is why depending on when you join the company the so-called 3 year vesting schedule can be anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 calendar years approximately

You wouldn’t be allowed to rollover any Non-vested funds. So everything you rolled over should be yours
Thanks for confirming that!
