Can you use another email to re-do an interview?

My roommate is working in Cisco...he had an unfortunately aggressive phone interview with an Amazon Alexa SDM on the phone. It sounded like the SDM was yelling at him which is not good. He tried to tell the recruiter about it, but the recruiter took the SDM's side and told him to re-apply in 6 months. WTF? Randomly I got a recruiter email from Amazon AWS...decided to pass it to my roommate but this time I advised him to use his company email. Will this work? Can he get a second chance? If he's gonna get blocked, can you explain why please? No trolls.

Not sure but it was an Indian guy with a heavy accent.

Salesforce jumanjidev May 8, 2020

Thatโ€™s very generic. How about give first letter of first name and last name

Your roommate still wants to work at amazon after that experience?! ๐ŸŽฉ off to him!

Well, apparently Cisco is worse. It's absolutely a shit show right now...and he wants to escape and least earn a higher TC.

Why is Cisco an absolute shit show? It is more chill and less stressful than Amazon at least

Why would you use your work email to apply for a job? That seems dangerous.

Just make a new one

Ok yea I'll ask him to make a new one. Better to be safe.

I remember reading on one of the Amazon recruiter threads that they use emails to identify each candidate. So a new email should be fine? No idea if it's actually true though

What about the phone number?

Amazon gKAj73 May 8, 2020

They are going to ask if you interviewed with Amazon before. So it means youโ€™ll have to lie to them.

Verizon ComTruise May 8, 2020

Lying and deceiving will put your roommate in the forever ban instead of 6month.
