Cancelling an on campus interview?

So I got invited a few months ago to do an on campus interview with FB next week and then proceeded to totally forget about it. I already have an offer I'd much rather take over FB but I also don't want to burn any bridges with them by refusing to interview when I already told them I'd do it. Is it rude to just say I'm not interested anymore? Or would it be better to just go through it and then turn them down later? TC: ≥205k

It would take much more than that to burn Bridges. FB's bar makes it harder to hire candidates, as long as you can meet their bar, they will always be after you

Just send an email of "I've received another opportunity which is aligns better with what I'm looking for in my career right now" and usual thanks and shit. It's no different from the company sending you "we decided to go with another candidate"

Just say no It’s worse to waste their time knowing u have already made the decision

Just do it for the interview experience. But no, it’s not rude to cancel if you’re not interested or have already accepted another offer.

Grow some balls and just decline the interview. Let the interviewers get their time back so they can do other interviews.

I had exactly the same situation. I decided to go, and had a great time with the interviewer (only ~45 minutes). The question was actually a LC hard. :)
