I interviewed at Google last year for a PM position in GCP and made to the final round. Unfortunately didn’t make the cut. Feedback was that product sense and business were strong but I didn’t not have enough tech depth. I waited 12 months and I applied again through a referral. this time I didn’t get the interview for any of the 3 positions (PM related) I applied for. I got another referral and applied for other 3 positions and still didn’t get any interview. It has been now 6 months and I am really struggling to get any traction. To the recruiters out there, is there some sort of black list and is it possible I am in it? For reference last year I got the interview through a referral and it took just a couple of days to ge the interview. Should I just give up with Google and move on? #pm #Google #productmanager #recruiting

Exactly my case. Interviewed a year ago and just was rejected without interviews even though I have the same referral and added Amazon pmt to my resume. I suspect Google slowed down hiring since pandemic (per pichai’s email) and still is hiring slowly
When they say tech depth is lacking, they really mean you didn't prostrate yourself before the woke, triple reparations, skin color before talent, cancel-it-all culture at Google.
I don’t think you’re on a blacklist. Just move on though.
U dun fucked up
