Hey Guys! I've a Capital One Power Day coming up for Software Engineer role and would love some advice on how to crack the interview. YOE : 1.5 TC : 🥜
Interviewing as a new grad, the coding questions were pulled directly from leetcode. There’s only a list of about 12 of them, might be worth getting leetcode premium if you want to review them. Other than that there was a simple object oriented class design question
I would expect just easy leetcode, medium at most. Since you already have some experience, I would also anticipate some system design-ish questions. Not like the kind you do for faang where you have to design a website or something, but more just being able to reason about things. For example, one of my interviews was entirely the interviewer asking me how the website I worked on at my previous job worked in detail. There will also be a "case" interview which is a combination of more system design reasoning and very easy coding. There should also be 1 behavioral interview that is just some basic STAR format questions. Only prep that's really necessary is just to brush up on leetcode and make sure you know what you're talking about with what you do at your current job. No need to grind.
Mostly LC easy/medium. Really depends on who your interviewers are and if they're doing it because they're passionate about bringing in talent, or because they want to tell their manager that they do it.
Geico is a 🥜 TC man moving out !
I interviewed with them long back - They asked me a lot of java questions and some very basic coding. Easy interview
