Hey guys. I got a job offer at capital one Chicago and was wondering how the office was? Is there anywhere you'd recommend living?

Chicago office is kind of a clusterf**k tbh. There was the threat of 60% headcount lay-off there until Walmart deal landed. Our company really emphasizes visibility and when it comes to performance reviews legit everyone stack ranking you will be on the east coast and prioritize who they know there over you. If you end up working here youโll want to be in an east coast (Virginia) office for a better chance at promos.

Don't bother. C-One and their fake mantra of a tech company is total BS. Especially the tech organization. They don't promote within from the ranks because leadership is afraid that the new gen will show them how things are done. The business side promotes but the tech side likes to hire from outside. The old timers likes to keep the crap hidden.
I got an offer for Sr. Business Analyst and they're asking me location preference out of VA, Chicago, and NY. Which one should I choose?
