Ya strange. I am in team match. Application is still open. But they closed the lower level role I applied to saying it won't be filled anymore.
Budgets are held at the line of business level. It’s up to the lines of business to determine how to best stay within budget. Bottom line, we are still hiring for select roles where there is a significant need.

Whoah capital one had layoffs? I just passed power day for BA 2 weeks ago. Recruiter was being wierd and didn't set up meet and greets after sending me roles and asking if I was interested. I had initially applied for lower level role and got an email today "due to changing needs this role will not be filled". The higher level role still shows as open.
Can confirm. Capital one laid off many associates in Auto Finance today

Auto and Refi got hit today. We don't have numbers in the email. "we announced changes to our organization and made the difficult decision to eliminate certain roles in organizations functions within our Dealer Auto and Auto Refinance businesses"
