Is it me or the capital one tagged leetcode questions are ridiculous? Do they really ask hards? The question tagged are harder than faang. Anyone know how legit this is? Have an upcoming power day for senior engineer and would like to know Tc 125 year 3 #leetcode #capitalone #engineering #software #swe
Nope they only ask easy questions.
Why did you ask hard questions
thanks for replying. I just accepted my offer today🤞
No one who can solve hards would want to work for C1 so I highly doubt it.
When I applied for an internship one of my onsite questions was “given a matrix of 0 && 1’s count all 1’s that are adjacent to each other”. This was many years ago and it was a 2 paragraph word problem.
What problem does C1 solve that needs Leetcode hard engineers 😂
Fixing one pipeline apparently 😏
I've been giving interviews at C1. Different types of engineers are going to get different sets of questions, but for all the technical interviews I've done, they haven't really been leetcode. They're scenario-based on something you might actually do. The leetcode stuff is in the screen.
I have a power day for senior engineer. Is it safe to just practice OOP style questions instead of the leetcode style ? There’s barely any tagged for c1
Most likely it’s because of online assessment.
When I was hired two years ago my leetcode questions that I was asked in person on power day were extremely easy. The online pre-screening was more difficult but still not too hard.
Probably from OA. The actual interview questions are usually easys with some easier mediums.
Have never heard anyone say their process is hard. You’ll be fine.

Their interview process is complete shit. Don’t know why anyone works for them going through the crap they pull. At the end of the coding challenge part the system asks if the questions are reflective of the job posting. It was an EM job posting. They flat out told me before hand that it was a leadership only role, not contributing to the code base. So no, the questions asked absolutely did not reflect the job posted.
